Hunt for a Royal fortune on Scoop6

An estimated £1million looks set to be on offer in the Scoop6 on Wednesday afternoon with punters out of luck on the opening day at Royal Ascot.

The win fund contains £170,953 at the start of play on Wednesday while the bonus fund has ballooned to £681,124.

We will take a view on Wednesday morning on the option of opening a fresh one-dayer syndicate, or waiting for another day.

The win fund rolled on day one, thanks largely to Accidental Agent’s 33/1 success in the first leg meaning just 245 tickets survived into the Coventry Stakes and it was a long way home for players from there.

The Royal Hunt Cup provides the toughest puzzle for punters to solve on day two with the action consisting of five races at Royal Ascot, and one from Hamilton.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said: “The surprise victory of Accidental Agent did plenty of damage and although fancied runners were victorious later on, no units remained going into the last leg resulting in a possible seven figure sum for a single winner of both funds tomorrow..”

Should the Scoop6 win fund be landed on Wednesday, the bonus race on Thursday shall be the 5:00pm Royal Ascot, The Britannia Stakes.

The place fund paid £573.30 on Tuesday with 38 winning tickets.

A Scoop6 will run every day during Royal Ascot, with any funds that are not won rolling over to the followings days action.

The totejackpot also went unclaimed and Wednesday’s bet will start with £21,190.45 in the fund with the races once again comprising of the six contests from Royal Ascot.
