Berkshire Leaves Scoop6 Players Feeling Blue

Berkshire Blue won the Shergar Cup Classic at Ascot this afternoon and rolled over the Scoop6 to next weekend.

Joao ‘Magic Man’ Moreira delivered his charge with a well-timed run down the middle of the track, to the dismay of the twenty-seven remaining Scoop6 ticket holders in the fifth leg.

However, the Scoop6 place fund once again provided an excellent consolation prize with two punters taking home £8,950 each for just six placed horses.

Success for Genetics at 9/1 and 14/1 shot Unforgettable Filly in the opening two legs meant a rollover looked likely as early as the third leg.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “The annual Shergar Cup always produces competitive races and it proved the undoing of Scoop6 punters on Saturday with all win fund interest over and done with before we got to the ‘lucky last’. The silver lining is a potential £300,000 Scoop6 next weekend, but two punters will be celebrating taking home £8,950 for picking six placed horses.”
