You must ensure that you read these Terms and Conditions before applying or registering for Membership of the Club on-line.

1.            Personal Details

Members must register on-line only by completing the Registration Form. Members must inform us of their current home address and a contact telephone number.

Members must make any changes on-line to these personal details as soon as practicable following any change to any of their personal details.

We will always use our best endeavours to safeguard the privacy of any personal details or information that you supply to us as part of the application process and/or during the course of your Membership with us. We will use and process any such data in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Your Membership application will only be processed if you complete the on-line Registration Form in full. This information shall include but not necessarily be limited to your name, address, contact details, username, a password, date of birth, and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to request necessary, additional or replacement data which you agree to provide to us as a condition of retaining Membership of the Club.

The personal information that you provide to us will only be used to process your application for Membership, to manage and administer your Membership and to provide the services of the Club to you. We will not use your personal data for any other purpose and we will not disclose it to any outside or third party without your express prior written consent except as may be required by law.

2.         The Club and the Scoop6 Pot

The Club is run strictly in accordance with the Rules set out expressly in the ‘How It Works section of the club Website. To access this please enter the Website and Click the ‘How it Works’ Button at the top of the Screen. If your Membership is accepted then you agree to be bound by these Rules and all Terms and Conditions set out and easily accessible on this Website. The Club reserves the right in its absolute discretion to amend or remove, alter or change any of the Club’s Rules, or the basis upon which the Club and Scoop6 Pot operates.

3.            Conduct

If we, in our sole discretion, believe that your behaviour or conduct amounts to a breach of our Rules, or seriously breaches the Agreement between us, then we may require you to leave the Club and remove you from our list of Members. In this event we may also prevent you from gaining or re-gaining entry as a Member of the Club.

All members are absolutely forbidden from acting in any way that does or may constitute a fraudulent or criminal act. The Club shall accept no responsibility for any such act and shall immediately report any suspicious fraudulent or criminal act to the relevant authorities including but not limited to the Police.

5.            Interpretation

The Company shall determine any matter that is not otherwise provided for in these Rules or in the Terms and Conditions contained in the Agreement between us and our members. Any dispute or difference of opinion regarding the interpretation of these Rules shall be determined by the Club whose decision on such interpretation shall be final and binding on all members.

6.            Limitation of Liability

The Club, the officials of the Club and any of our employees, accepts no liability for any loss whether financial or consequential arising from your Membership of the Club or Participation in the Club’s Scoop6 Scheme or other schemes we may run from time to time.

7.            General

The Club(s) is open to application for membership strictly from persons aged 18 years or older. If the Club discovers any Member has falsely misrepresented or stated their age or Date of Birth, and that anyone is therefore younger than 18 years old, then the Club shall terminate Membership immediately, and shall reserve the right to refer the matter to the Police if there is a reasonable suspicion of criminal activity under the laws of the United Kingdom.

The Club accepts no liability or responsibility for any acts, errors or omissions howsoever arising that may, or do cause actual loss to Members as a result of joining the Scoop6 or any other game promotion from time to time run or provided by the Club. Members agree and accept as a condition of becoming a member that the Tote’s Scoop6 operation has in the past and may in the future, from time to time, collapse without notice at any time. In such circumstances you accept as a Member that this will render impossible the ability of the Club to place entries. In the event, however unlikely, all unused stakes will remain in the betting balance.

Tote Scoop6 Rules

Below are the Tote's own rules on the Scoop6.

The Tote totescoop6 consists of three separate funds:

Win Fund

To win a dividend from the Win Fund requires the selection of the winners in all of the six-totescoop6 races. A horse which dead heats for first place counts as a winner.

If there is no outright winner of the Win Fund, the respective portion of the pool will be rolled over to the next totescoop6 Win Fund as decided by totepool.

Place Fund

To win a dividend from the Place Fund requires the selection of a placed horse on which a totepool Place dividend would normally be declared or, where due to insufficient runners no Place pool is operated, the winner of the race, in all of the six-totescoop6 races.

If there is no outright winner of the Place Fund, the respective portion of the pool will be rolled over to the next totescoop6 Win Fund as decided by totepool.

Bonus Fund

Winners of the Win Fund, who have selected the six winners of the totescoop6 races, qualify to compete in the Bonus Fund the following week provided they register with the totescoop6 Bonus Fund Hotline within the required deadline.

Should the racecard number of an overnight-declared runner be allocated to a reserve horse, the reserve horse(s) will be re-numbered sequentially in line with totepool Rules.

Should a selection become a non-runner, the Starting Price favourite will be substituted. Where there are joint favourites, the joint favourite with the lowest racecard number will be substituted. Should the favourite be withdrawn before coming under Starters Orders and too late for a new favourite to be made, the next shortest price horse will be substituted. Where two or more horses are returned at the next shortest price, the one with the lowest racecard number will be substituted. If no Starting Price is returned the first actual runner quoted in the Racing Post betting forecast will be substituted.

In the event of a totescoop6 pool being cancelled, bets will be void and stakes refunded.

If a totescoop6 race becomes a walkover or a race is not run or is declared void, bets will stand for the remaining totescoop6 races. In this event total stakes on permutation entries will be applied in full on the remaining races.

To win a dividend from the Bonus Fund requires the selection of the winner of the Bonus Race nominated by totepool.

Claimants for the Bonus Fund must call the Bonus Fund Hotline - 0800 028 4418 to register as a Bonus Race qualifier prior to 6.00 pm on the Thursday before the Saturday’s nominated Bonus Race (the Bonus Fund Hotline is available up to 7.00 pm on the Saturday and from 12 noon until 3.00 pm Sunday to Wednesday and from 12 noon until 6.00 pm on the Thursday. Failure to register will result in the claimant being unable to compete in the Bonus Fund.

Qualifiers who choose to play for the Bonus Fund will be asked at their discretion, to agree to full media publicity and may be requested by the tote to appear at a racecourse or other venue, in which case totepool will arrange and pay for reasonable transport and accommodation costs.

If there are no registered qualifiers for the Bonus Fund or no registered qualifier selects the winner of the Bonus Race, the Bonus Fund will be rolled over to future Bonus Fund(s) as decided by totepool.

The nominated Bonus Race will be announced by totepool by 12.30 pm on the Friday before the Bonus Race and registered qualifiers must call the Bonus Fund Hotline again between 9.00 am and one hour before the advertised ‘off time’ of the Bonus Race to register their selection or selections if they have more than one winning line.

It is the responsibility of registered qualifiers to register their selections on the Bonus Fund Hotline telephone number - 0800 028 4418 - and in the event of a selection not being received before the required time, the Starting Price favourite in accordance with paragraph 3 above, will be substituted. Should a selection become a non-runner, registered qualifiers will have the option up to 30 minutes prior to the advertised ‘off-time’ of the Bonus Race, to change their selection. If no replacement selection is received or if a selection becomes a non-runner less than 30 minutes before the advertised ‘off-time’ of the Bonus Race, the Starting Price favourite, in accordance with paragraph 3 above will be substituted.

Should the nominated Bonus Race not take place or for any reason is declared void, totepool reserves the right to nominate an alternative race on the same or any future day as the Bonus Race.

In the event of the totescoop6 being decided on less than six races, the Bonus Fund will not operate and that day’s Bonus Fund (excluding any carry-over, which will be rolled over to a future Bonus fund) will be divided equally between the Win Fund and Place Fund.
